Overlook House

Capacity: 2

    • Studio-style apartment (Queen bed)
    • Bathroom with shower
    • Gas-log fireplace

The Overlook Apartment evolved over a number of years and uses. Originally built in 1958 as a storage room and occasional summer "brave employee" quarters (it was called the Gorilla Room because the ceiling was so low no one could stand up in it), it didn't become a resort accommodation until 1987 when it was remodeled. My son, Rob, named it for its deck and spectacular view high above Oak Creek. Quite comfortable, one room studio apartment style with a Queen bed and gas-log fireplace. The bathroom has a shower. Please, no pets in The Overlook.
