Stay in the Cloud House

Dad began building the Cloud House in 1979, but his wrangle with the County Building Department over whether he needed to obey and take out a building permit left this house unfinished for 6 years. The Cloud House very much grew as it went: a bedroom here, a loft there, and a new rock patio after the record flood of 1993 removed the original one. It was his final building project at Forest Houses Resort and is known for its striking architectural design.

Our most popular house, The Cloud House features wonderful views of the canyon through clerestory windows. Enter the house on the upper level to the kitchen, dining table, full bathroom with a tub/shower, King bedroom, and a loft with 2 Twins with a small deck overlooking Oak Creek. Downstairs features a second King bedroom, rock wood-burning fireplace, living room and private patio that overhangs Oak Creek with spectacular views
