The Oak House has traditionally been the residence of Forest Houses’ managers. It was built originally for managers Johnny and Donna Beck, whose 8 children (1 boy and 7 girls) lived there. In the 1980’s, the house was established in the resort as a guest rental.

Situated in the central area of the resort and part of the larger building where the office, Sycamore House and Overlook Apartment are located, the Oak House enjoys a private stone patio for outdoor relaxing. It is an easy walk to the nearby large grass lawn and the gardens. Up a steep ladder-style staircase inside are the 2 bedrooms (King and two Twins), the full bathroom with tub/shower and a sunny reading-sitting room. Downstairs features the full kitchen, dining table and living area. Cozy up to either of the two wood-burning rock fireplaces, one upstairs in the King bedroom and the other downstairs in the living room.
