Stay in the Studio House

In the 1940’s, the Studio House was originally built as Mom and Dad’s working studio for sculpting and art. Dad converted it to a rental in 1950. I remember riding the bus home from school and seeing him building the house. There was an antique, disabled French World War 2 turret sitting on the patio during that year, and I was too small to work the mechanism. I would yammer and yammer until Dad would finally come out and set it for me to have one satisfying “click”.
